We
offer tuition and housing packages for our workshops in Europe. We
do not offer accommodation packages for the workshop in New York.

For the workshops in Europe, participants
can choose from a wide range of possibilities such as hostels, pensions
and 3 and 4 star hotels depending on location. Accommodations are on
a first come first served basis. Please reserve yours well in advance
to ensure your space.
Participants in the workshop can also make their own housing arrangements.
The difference between hostels, pensions and hotels has to do with the
amenities they offer. The less expensive choices tend to have fewer
services and amenities. Almost all of our accommodations are within
5 - 15 minutes walking distance to the classroom and some of the accommodations
are on the site of the classroom.
Please be aware that not all hotels in Europe have handicap access. If
you have concerns about walking, the availability of elevators or need
special accommodations, the workshops located in the U.S. may be more
appropriate.
Hostels
Hostels are no frills places in which you often have to share bathrooms and showers, although you will see that some of our hostels offer private rooms and private bathrooms. Hostels often offer the opportunity to meet fellow travelers from all over the world. Hostels usually do not have phones, TV, or A/C in the rooms though their public rooms usually have phones and sometimes Internet access and TV. It is imperative that you arrive before 7 PM at the hostel in Florence to get checked in for the first night.
Pensions
Pensions are a step up in the accommodations world. They are often small, family run affairs. There may be some language challenges between you and the management as some do not speak English.
Hotels
Hotels (standard and superior) usually have A/C, in-room phones, and various other services. You’ll want to check each of our listings for what the hotels offer. There is a big difference in the luxury factor between standard and superior hotels, though both will typically have English speaking attendants, A/C, and telephones in the rooms.

located in the center of the city. All rooms have air
conditioning. It is a 15 minute walk from the old harbor and our other accommodations. Internet access available. This is also where our classes are held.

Porto Veneziano (3 ) is a
modern building located in the Venetian Old Port. All rooms have air
conditioning. The hotel is right on the water and has a lovely garden. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the classroom at Hotel Samaria. Internet access available.

We
offer accommodations at Hotel
Taber (3 ). An
Art Nouveau building designed by the architect Domènech
i Montaner. Located next to Rambla de Catalunya and close to Pg.
de Gràcia, where the most famous Art Nouveau architectural
works in Barcelona are to be found. Modern, spacious rooms with
en-suite fully-fitted bathrooms, with satellite TV, free ADSL connection,
telephone, air-conditioning, mini-bar, mini-gym, safe, laundry
and room service.
SUPERIOR:

Regente (4 ),
located in Rambla de Catalunya, in the Casa Evarist, an Art Nouveau building
from 1913. With the interior completely remodeled and the original façade
restored, it combines the Art Nouveau details of the period with those
of most modern hotels. Modern, spacious rooms with en-suite fully-fitted
bathroom, with satellite TV, free ADSL connection, telephone, air-conditioning,
mini-bar, mini-gym, safe, laundry and room service.

Hostel Firenze 2000 is
located in the oldest quarter of Florence. Close to Palazzo Pitti,
Ponte Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi and Piazzale Michelangelo. It takes
15 to 20 minutes to walk to the classroom at Hotel Anglo American.
SUPERIOR:
The
elegant Hotel
Anglo American(4 ) reflects
the history and grandeur of the city. All rooms have air
conditioning. Internet access available. This is also where our classes are
held.

York
